Itinerary

Day 1

Nationwide – Beijing

  • Transfer: Arrive in Beijing on your own; 24-hour private airport/station pickup (Capital, Daxing, Beijing Railway Station, Beijing West, Beijing South, etc.). Driver takes you to the hotel.
  • Accommodation: Check in at Pud Hotel twin room (B&B) or similar. Well located for the following days.
  • Free time: After check-in you may explore on your own (e.g. Nanluoguxiang, Wangfujing). Dinner on your own.
  • Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner on your own.
Day 2

Tiananmen Square – Forbidden City – Roast Duck Welcome Lunch – Yonghe Temple – Temple of Heaven

  • Stop 1: Tiananmen Square—central Beijing, 880 m N–S, 500 m E–W. See the Monument to the People's Heroes and Great Hall of the People.
  • Stop 2: Forbidden City—former imperial palace, world's largest wooden complex. About 3 hours with your guide.
  • Lunch: Roast duck welcome lunch.
  • Stop 3: Yonghe Temple—largest Tibetan Buddhist temple in Beijing.
  • Stop 4: Temple of Heaven—imperial altar for prayers; fine Ming–Qing architecture.
  • Accommodation: Return to Pud Hotel.

  • Transport: High-speed train to Shanghai (about 6–9 h). Private transfer from Hongqiao Station to hotel.

Shanghai – Nationwide

  • Free time: After hotel breakfast, free in Shanghai (extensions to Suzhou, Hangzhou or water towns can be arranged). Check-out by 12:00; luggage can be stored at front desk.
  • Transfer: Driver picks you up 3 hours before flight from Pudong or Hongqiao Airport.
  • Meals: Breakfast (hotel) included; lunch and dinner on your own.

Extensions to Suzhou, Hangzhou, etc. available on request.

Booking Notes

Prices vary by group size, date and availability; final price as per consultant.

1. Pricing: Base price is per person, twin share, for the lowest available date; final price depends on date, group size, room type, train/flight and add-ons.

2. Check-in: Usually 14:00, check-out 12:00; deposit may apply; same standard if hotel changed.

3. ID: Foreign guests need passport copy for train/flight; carry valid ID; no travel if document invalid.

4. Itinerary: Order may change (weather, capacity, traffic); no reduction in sights or time.

5. Transport: Train/flight tickets non-refundable once issued; missed train/flight at guest's cost.

6. Experiences: Shichahai rickshaw, courtyard, DIY terracotta, cycling—no refund if waived or unavailable.

7. Leaving group: No unsupervised departure; refund only for unused services; no liability after leaving.

8. Sights: Forbidden City etc. require advance booking; if failed, alternative or refund. Terracotta has optional shops. Huangpu cruise may be replaced in bad weather.

9. Transfers: Provide flight/train details at least 2 days ahead; no transfer if not provided.

10. Feedback: Please complete local feedback form; complaints may not be accepted if not completed.

11. Seniors: 70+ need health commitment letter and companion (except where we cannot accommodate); we cannot accept 81+; check fitness and age limits with us.

12. Minors: Under 18 must be accompanied by a guardian; we cannot accept unaccompanied minors.

13. Health: No travel with serious illness (infectious, cardiovascular, respiratory, mental, severe anemia, post major surgery), pregnancy or limited mobility.

14. Other: Keep valuables safe; optional souvenir shops in parks are not arranged by us.
