Wuzhen East (Dongzha)

Wuzhen West (Xizha)
By day, Xizha is a quiet Jiangnan scene of small bridges, canals, blue tiles and white walls, full of local life. In February–March plum blossoms 🌸 scent the air; in March–April magnolias 💐 dot the white walls. After dark it becomes a dreamscape of swaying lanterns and boats on the water, romance and poetry at every turn.
